Establishment of the company as part of the multinational concern KEY PLASTICS LLC
The history of Dolný Kubín factory production began in 2005 with the founding of the company called KEY PLASTICS L.L.C. The main matter of the business was the production of completely assembled and finished products. The company gradually expanded its activities, including plastic injection, manual painting, and in 2007, automated painted robots. In 2009, Key Plastics Slovakia, s.r.o. undergo restructuring, and all its supply activities were taken over by group called Group Plastivaloire. Bourbon Automative Plastics is currently in ownership as a 100% subsidiary company of Group Plastivaloire which focus on the production of plastic parts for the automobile industry. Approximately 400 employees work in the company in three production facilities: assembly, pressing shop and painting shop.

In order to production efficiency and meeting the demands of its customers, the company constantly invests and develops its processes at all its production facilities. The technologies in our press department include 23 single- jet presses from 150T to 2400T, 2 double- jet presses 200T, 610 molds of which 335 are active, automatic cutting of inflows by a robot, system for heating the mold to high temperature- hot stamping, system for foiling pressings. In the production operation of the paint shop, we have 1 manual line, 3 automatic painting lines, 8 painting robots, 2 cleaning robots, UV ovens, RTO sludge pressing machine.
Approximately 400 employees cooperate and participate in achieving the common goals of the company. Employees develop their qualifications and rich work experiences in the departments of Logistics, Quality, Technical department, Project department, Financial department, Personnel department and the production departments of the Painting, Injection and Assembly, from the level of production employees to specialists in the given production area.
Applicants with a high school education can apply here, either from secondary vocational schools, vocational schools with or without a high school diploma. We also offer job positions to candidates with a university degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, or electro- technical engineering. All newly hired employees are trained for the job, thanks to which they will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the work in the given position.
