DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION

Innovating means searching and trying! Our moulding and decoration test centres allow us to test our tools, try out new injection and decoration processes, test new ideas, experiment with our innovations with equipment that is the same as in production.

PVL decrypts the new trends in colours and materials and imagines the decors of tomorrow.

Our designers monitor the changes in society in order to anticipate and define our customer’s needs.

A trend watch in all directions provides us with inspiration and allows us to innovate.

PVL’s ambition is to remain at the forefront of innovation with regards to decorated plastic parts. Our decors are becoming smart interactive surfaces that are backlit and that use “new generation” materials for the first and second surfaces.

We optimise our industrial equipment and cross our decoration techniques in order to create unique decors.

Our technical experts and our designers give life to your designs and assist you in making your projects a reality thanks to their attentiveness and their reactivity.

PVL - Design and trend analysis

PVL is taking on the challenges of the future by pointing its innovation roadmap to determining subjects linked to ecology and the new mobility:

LIGHTENING

is a key point in designing automobile parts.
Each gram saved makes it possible to reduce the quantity of carbon consumed and therefore to reduce CO2 emissions.
PVL has developed new light materials that are perfectly suited for injection but also solutions from composite materials.

RECYCLED MATERIALS, ECO DESIGN AND THE CIRCULAR ECONOMY:

Recycled plastic materials are increasingly effective and varied.
PVL makes sure it recycles its own plastic waste and introduces into its production recycled plastic materials by guaranteeing optimum quality for its finished products. PVL regularly tests and uses biosourced plastics for certain projects and is constantly on the lookout for new ecoresponsible materials.

THE AUTOMOBILE OF THE FUTURE:

The world of the automobile is changing, autonomous driving and electric vehicles as well as car sharing are profoundly modifying the way we design and equip vehicles. PVL closely monitors these changes by offering its customers plastic parts equipped with backlighting systems, touch-sensitive decors, and by integrating high-end and authentic materials into its range of decors. PVL decors will make it possible to create vehicles with varied ambiances and that meet all uses and range levels.
